CK Capital Partners is a real estate investment company that specializes in the investment and strategic asset management of prominent office buildings across the Netherlands.

CK Capital Partners (CK) is a joint investment partner in direct commercial real estate with large institutional investors. CK has a successful track record of investing with its partners in high quality office buildings that meet our co-investors’ requirements. CK adds value through strategic investments. We use a disciplined and focused investment approach that is supported by long-term fundamentals. CK facilitates a range of services such as strategic asset management, coordination of tax, accounting & audit and directing property & project management.

CK Capital Partners was founded in July 2013 by Daniel G. Cohen and Linda Koster. They form with Niek Koster the board of directors.

CK Capital Partners is an affiliate of Cohen & Company Inc., a US financial company based in Philadelphia and New York with European subsidiaries in London and Paris with $3.6 bn AuM in fixed income assets (NYSE American”COHN”/ www.cohenandcompany.com).

Creating a lasting positive impact through the upgrade of our buildings onto its lessees, users and its direct environment is one of the core principles of our firm. It guides our investment activities and our daily interactions with our co-investors, our contractors and advisors and all our other stakeholders.

CK understands the importance that its sustainable approach of investing can have onto the three ESG factors of environment, social and governance. That is why oversight of for sustainable topics are with the board of directors of which the CEO and the CFRO form both part of.

Each office investment proposition is selected and acquired on a stand alone basis in order to best assess its individual ESG risks and opportunities, business ethics, human capital development, among others.

Dutch Prominent Office Buildings

The acquisition process is focused on ‘A+’ and ‘A’ locations within strategic cities with good public transport infrastructure.

CK has a particular focus on build-to-suit, single and anchor tenant office properties in prime city center locations. Location, Lessee and Lease are the key investment drivers.

Sustainability of the properties forms an integral part of our strategy. We undertake feasibility studies to identify where effective capital expenditure programs can enhance value. CK recognizes the impact that the properties have on the environment and society. We work closely together with our tenants to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes that incorporate improvements to both the functionality and the experience of the building as well as the entire sustainability process in general and the optimization of its energy efficiency in particular. We also support our tenants in optimizing their own installations and internal office layout with respect to sustainability.

Obtaining energy label A is one of our first priorities for all our properties. In addition, we provide building-related investments that result in BREEAM sustainability certificates of at least ‘very good’.

The most recently obtained BREEAM certificates are for the Lotus C&E properties in Rotterdam with a ‘very good’ classification.
