ESG & SUSTAINABILITY
Transforming corporate spaces for a Net Zero world.
Our core principle is a commitment to ESG and sustainability, demonstrated through the transformation of outdated undermanaged offices into vibrant, eco-conscious assets that align with the future of wellbeing and sustainable working. This principle guides CK’s investment decision making process, risk tolerance, and daily execution of our investment management strategy in collaboration with fund and co-investors.
We recognize the significant impact our sustainable investment approach has on the three ESG pillars: environment, social, and governance factors. Therefore, oversight of sustainability matters lies with the Board of Directors, which includes the CEO and CFRO.
COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE
Dutch Prominent Office Buildings
The investment selection is focused on build-to-suit, single and anchor tenant office properties and driven by location, lessee, and lease. CK selects A+ locations within strategic cities that have strong population growth and favorable infrastructure, such as intercity stations, universities, and hospitals among others.
Each office investment is selected on a stand alone basis in order to best assess its individual ESG risks and opportunities, business ethics, and human capital development. We conduct feasibility studies to identify opportunities where capital expenditure programs can enhance value, working closely with anchor tenants to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes that improve both the functionality and experience of the building, as well as optimize its energy efficiency.
We deliver tailored solutions to our tenants and support the optimization of their own installations and internal office layouts to enhance sustainability and connectivity initiatives. Our ambition is to transition the energy efficiency of each office asset into Paris Proof status.
