Commitment to Sustainability

CK Capital Partners is dedicated to sustainable investment practices, integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into our operations to enhance the sustainability of our buildings and environments.

We are committed to the principles of the UN Global Compact and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and we have aligned our ESG objectives with these principles. Our ESG objectives are reported in our annual sustainability report.

GRESB Reporting

In 2025, CK Capital Partners earned a 4-star rating in the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB), ranking 7th among European value-add office managers. CK Capital Partners is the only value-add office fund in the Netherlands listed by GRESB, reflecting our strong commitment to ESG excellence.

The GRESB reporting evaluates key performance indicators including energy consumption, GHG emissions, water usage, and waste management.

ESG Policies

As an Article 8 fund under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), we promote environmental and social characteristics. Our comprehensive ESG policies cover energy efficiency, waste management, water conservation, social responsibility, and governance practices.

Environmental Initiatives

We aim to have 80% of our portfolio properties achieve an energy label A within five years. Our investments focus on repositioning properties to meet high sustainability standards, including BREEAM certifications and significant CO2 emission reductions.

Since 2023, we continue to undertake ESG related initiatives such as revising our Environmental Management System and establishing a transition and physical risk assessment process to identify and assess the impact of climate risks.

Value Creation

Our strategy involves transforming office buildings into energy-efficient, ESG-optimized properties, collaborating with tenants to enhance property value and support their success. Substantial capex investments have been made in Lotus, Teleport Tower and Hanze to create a vibrant social hub on their ground floors.

These investments have been focused on providing a variety of amenities designed to enhance the experience for tenants and visitors alike. These amenities include:

  • Stylish coffee bars offering a range of beverages and light snacks, perfect for informal meetings or a quick break.
  • Restaurants with Fully Fitted Kitchens: Diverse dining options with fully equipped kitchens, ensuring high-quality food and service for various culinary preferences.
  • Business Centers: Professional business centers equipped with modern facilities, providing spaces for meetings, co-working, and networking.
  • Auditoriums: State-of-the-art auditoriums for hosting conferences, presentations, and large meetings.
  • Outside Green Terraces: Beautifully landscaped green terraces offering a relaxing outdoor space for socializing, working, or taking a break in a natural setting.
  • Sport facilities.

These enhancements are aimed at fostering a sense of community, promoting collaboration, and improving the overall environment in these buildings, making them attractive and functional spaces for businesses and individuals.

We continue our efforts towards accelerating our decarbonization strategy through the installation of solar panels. In 2025, 1,350 solar panels have been installed on the roof of our 28,000 m2 Hanze office building in Zwolle, a significant step in transforming our portfolio into more energy-efficient assets.
